“What’s true of all the evils in the world is true of plague as well. It helps men to rise above themselves.”
― Albert Camus, The Plague

When we arrived in Spain I could not stop shooting Tri-x & Kodachrome. I had learned all about exposure & shutter speeds while working with Mel. After we returned to the U.S. I sent out all my film for processing. I was thrilled when I got the slides and contact sheets back. I knew then that photography would always be a factor in my life.
I just didn’t know it would happen so fast. I had been replaced from my tv studio job by another person.
“I believe that, through the act of living, the discovery of oneself is made concurrently with the discovery of the world around us, which can mold us, but which can also be affected by us. A balance must be established between these two worlds—the one inside us and the one outside us.”
― Henri Cartier-Bresson
